I am trying to work out the names of various parts.

For instance; what is the name of those rods that connect to the ends of your steering rack?

How would you describe a control arm?

ends of the steering rack are tie rod ends.

control arms control suspension movement up and down. generally you have an upper and a lower on cars like ours with wishbones all 'round. people shorten that to LCA and UCA or TCA.
