Oil Tank Thingy In Boot

i was just replacing the brake light in my 32 gts4 and behind the kik pannel in the right far cornner is a oil tank off some sort can you guys shed some light on it cause iam so stumped as to waht it is

I was under the impression that the item which you a describing was the bottle which takes automatic transmittion fluid for the A-lsd type skylines. I wasn't aware however that r32 gts4's had this option, do it may also be something to do with the 4 wheel drive system or hicas.

it's for the Attessa 4wd system.

i think the A stands for active, the system uses hydraulic fluid as part of its operation, the bottles just for the hydraulic fluid

edit - didnt mean to bring up old threads, lookin for another old thread in another browser and just posted out of habbit
