R32 Lights

Hey all,

Just a situation im in, and wondering if anyones has the same thing.

Simple...the front lights will not work.

The bulbs are OK....the fuses in the engine bay are also OK..

does anyone know if there are any other fuses under the dash?

Ive checked various web sites, and all say that the only fuses for lights are in the engine bay.

Ive first noticed this problem a few weeks ago when one of the lights only wouldnt work, and then it would start working maybe 2-3 seconds after i switched them on. its only today that both of them stopped working all together. the back lights are all working OK, so are trhb linkers.

Please help as its quite urgent.

I might have the same problem...

Sometimes my right headlight starts working about 2 seconds after I turn it on, but my left 1 is sweet.

Could be dirty contacts....

No probs with high beam though.

You might find that the switch is the faulty part! (happens alot on R32 model)

Dirty contacts in the switch!

I have read about it even in the sevice manual for the GTR

It can be cleaned though!

Ive checked the switch and it seems to be pretty clean....

Ill search for a good auto electrician and have it looked at..

go down to chipping norton mate. he's the only one on the main industrial road. he's good, and isnt expensive

i had the same problem n still do!, n i was told it was the switch.

i get that, occasionally one head light will take a few seconds to turn on or not turn on at all, it is the switch, so far for me flicking the switch off/on fixes it, but going to have to look at it eventually

lol, yeah thats what iw as doing aswelll...

but not it fully stopped....and am forced to get it looked at.
