hey guys

just washed my car and now my tacho is sitting at about 5k wiggling about. has anyone had this problem before? i think i may have got water in at the bottom of the window coz the seal isnt too good. checked all my fuses they seam fine. it has no response to the throttle now either. just darts about at ablout 5-7 grand. hopefully by tommorow it will have dried out and be back to normal.

what do you guys think? any suggestions?

mine does the same.. it just stopped working one day.. it has been broken for nearly 2 years. wish i could fix it.. was hard to know when to change gears at WSID

have you ever tried to do anything about it? im gonna get it checked out by an auto elec, ill let you know what the problem was. hopefully its not the signal from the ecu, then i can always get a after market tacho. friend suggested loose wire ill let you know when i get it checked.

nah not yet mate. i know the signal from the ecu is good because my apexi speed meter works well. So i dont know maybe the wire is buggard where its joined up too ??

Will have a look at it one day if i can be bothered
