Yes, I too would like to know what's going on... I hope the pictures haven't just been selected from something random that has been posted in the past... because for some, that would be a great disappointment.

And Jason, don't take anything the execs do or say, to heart. The Calendar is not an exec thing. The rest of us (bar col) have had nothing to do with this, and have not been kept informed of the progress. You know as little as the rest of us.

For all those worried here are a few points to help you rest easy

No pics have been taken yet.

Last pic will be taken 3rd December 2006 at the SCC06

If your on the list and you haven't been photographed by then PM me.

Just becasue you own a 10 Mega Pixel Camera does not make you a photographer so thanks for the offers.

SAU QLD Club has not expressed interest in funding this, it is done out of my own pocket on my own back.

Various posts may indicate that others are taking photos or have control over this or are giving input, this is untrue. Nobody knows anything more than anyone else. See next point -

I'm a selfish pedantic fu<ker who wishes to retain control over this for as long as I can.

A new thread will be created when completed and orders taken.

Thanks for your patience, I'm sure you'll all be pleasantly supprised when it's released

haha, okay, i take it this was aimed at me....

just because you 'think' you can take 'good' photos, doesn't mean you can!

so thanks for that, but i retract my offers... your on your own!

SAu Qld has never been officially approached for funding...you should already know this as you were an exec when this thread was started.

Thanks for letting people know whats happening anyway

unless you purchased your Camera in the last 3 months, no.

But as awlays you need to whinge and make it all about you.

You have fast become the new "Chaos"

unless you purchased your Camera in the last 3 months, no.

so tell me, since you think your so great with photography yourself, where's your camera?

or you just usin a cheap thing thats attached to your phone like per usual?

seriously, if you want to be so judgemental on peoples photography, get real!

everyone has different aspects on photography and not everything can be captured on film.

there would be over a million ways and bits and pieces and areas of a car that can be photographed.

so, since i would highly assume that the above post you made is actually aimed at me,

lets see your fine work of photography hey?

ohh and btw, i dont see any of your photography work posted anywhere with nothing but good comments from people.

yeah, i've had suggestions on what i can do to improve somethings but feedback for those only learning and getting a hang of it is better then comments such as your pitful one above.

    • I was poking through the R34 wiring diagrams vs R33 and noticed that the R34 has proper headlight relays while the R33 is like the R32 and sends full headlight power through the headlight switch. I'm not afraid of wiring but I really would like to do this in a way that looks OEM (clipping into open positions on the OEM relay box) and also unlike the factory wiring which interlocks the high beam and low beam on the halogen series 1 GTR headlights I want to make it such that turning on the high beams keeps the low beams on as well. Any advice on how to locate the specific connectors + crimp terminals + relays I need? I was thinking one NO relay for low beams and another for combined high + low running off the factory high beam headlight connector. I don't really want to splice into a crusty old probably discontinued factory harness so fully reversible is my goal here.
    • Pretty sure they run the same engine as the Q50 hybrid which specifies 95 RON.  I ran 98 in mine for a while, but it made no difference in performance or economy, so I have been using 95 for the last few years.  I have never hit 6.0L/100km, but have returned mid to high 6 on the highway.  Being a hybrid, fuel economy is a lot more dependant on how you drive it.  At 110km/h, mine never goes into EV mode on the highway, so returns closer to 7.5L/100. urban driving can return low 8s if you are careful or over 10 if you are a bit more enthusiastic on the throttle.
    • About a quarter of what you want to do. It's only R7R, not R&dismantle&replaceparts&reassemble&R. ? It is stock. I already told you, you will NOT have broken those. It's f**king 4th gear for Christ's sake. You just chipped the teeth off.
