Nismo Blank Key

r34 and s15 have an immobiliser bit built into the key i do so believe...

They have a chip in them that activates the immobiliser .You can get blanks from Nissan and cut your own, actualy i think you can get aftermarket blanks too . A locksmith will cut the key to suit your lock and if they have the software they will program it, if not go to Nissan and they will do it .

Even if i have installed an australian standard 3 point immobiliser/alarm? becuase the key i have now is the standard one that comes with the car, but now i can use the remote that came with the alarm.

so does that mean i can use the nismo key???

I thought it was to do with size of the key, Nismo made 2 sizes, I have one which is a short version and the R34's and S15's need a longer version...

I got mine from Nengun, but they are now discontinued. As you can see at the link I provided theres an 8 point and a 10 point style...and for some reason theres a $4757 price tag

Good luck finding one, Nismo has discontinued them altogether.

If your key has a chip in it you will need a key with a chip again , unless you remove/disable the factory immobiliser. Why not just get a 34 GTR key ?
