Realistically it isn't worth more than say 500 to 700 dollars.

Which is sad cos it's an alright computer for average stuff.

The problem is that Dell and whatnot have pc's with LCD monitors and what not for around 800 or so bucks so that kills the second hand market.

I personally think $600 is a little too much. :(

I would think $400 is reasonable on the basis of what you can get if you buy the system new.

$109 - AMD Semphron64 2800+

$105 - Gigabyte K8NS 754 M/board

$069 - PC3200 Kingston Ram 2 x 256mb = 512mb Total (OR $139 for 1GB)

$065 - Gigabyte ATI 9250 128mb Agp Vid Card

$099 - AOPEN 350w Decent quality Case and PSU

$080 - LG 4167B DVD Burner

$075 - 80GB 7200rpm 8mb Cache Hard Drive

$050 - Second hand 17" Monitor

-----

$652

Selling computers is sad. :P

I would most likely keep it and turn it in to a linux box.

Run IPCOP on it and use the 40gb had drive as a nice little web cache

There are people that have $600 don't look in to what else is available and may stumble upon your system for $600 and buy it so, give it a shot if you sell it BONUS. :(

I actually bought a tower which is better in every way bar the video brand new for $450 from www.zipcomputers.com.au

It's the budget box. With monitor and your vid card you would probably be able to sell it for a bit more if your lucky or around that price.

Good luck!!
