lows_13
I've got a manual R32 Skyline and when driving above 65 kph you can hear a huming sound coming from possibly the back wheel bearing. Its a on off tempo, kinda like mmmm mmmm mmmm mmmm As speen increases the tempo gets faster. Am i correct in saying this could be a wheel bearing thats shot?.... No Crust Racing
My R33 had this issue, the noise was not really noticeable until 50+ km/h. I've written a tutorial on how to replace the bearing in a 33, it may be of some assistance to you perhaps =) Cheers & good luck. Chegs
i have a similar thing, but its only noticeable when at speed (like 50+) around sweeping left corners RCEBNR, i had the same prob with my r33, but on the other side. put in a new hub kit, and problem rectified. the noise is intermittent because the load changes on the wheel. hub kit about 200 bucks from bearing shops.
