Is Diff the same between R32 gtst and R33 gtst?

I have a r33 but my diff is stuff up a little. Therefore i wanted to change it. However the wrecker here in adeliade only has the R32 GTST diff and said will fit R33. Can anyone verify this?

I dont think they are the same, but i remember someone was selling a 33 one here a few days ago.

If you can have a look at the bolt pattern or the drivesharts i can tell you if it is the same as the 32 one.

Firstly, what wrong with your diff now??

There are a few different diffs between 32 and 33

lsd and non-lsd , 4.11 and 4.3 ratios etc etc.

There are also 5 and 6 stud varieties (where the axles bolt on)

and possibly 4 studs, but i cant remember now.

Yup i found out that they are not the same.

btw whenever i drive my car i can hear some clinking sound from rear, and sound like the diff has broken a little.

The diffs dont break they just loose their LSD affect. It may clunk a little but they dont break a little, just spin one wheel not 2.
