Bov's. How Do U Know How They Sound?

This may be a really stupid question but I am looking at getting a blow off valve for my r33, i know there are a few different sounds that i have heard a blow off valve produce and was just wondering if most commercial BOV's make the basic sound or not? How do u know what they sound like. I like the sound of the ones they generally use in a rally. no idea how to describe that.

Hmmmm - yes there is a site but cant remember where.

From my experience you cant go past the sound of the HKS SS BOV.

that would be the closest to a rally car noise you will get, but remember puttng a to atomospher blow off valve will f**k your tune and the car will not run right (it will stall and carry on at low rpm) Rally cars shoot a bit of fuel directly into the exhaust wheel (after burn to keep the turbo spooled up at all times) after they back off and change gears.

i have the same one, only problem I have ever found was, half way through a race (drag strip) I had no boost, bov stuck open. Also after a while you cant adjust the level of noise that comes out via the ring, you can only have loud

the website jnj provided is informative, i guess you could also try waching a few car dvd's like HPI, OPTION, FAST N FURIOUS etc
