customer: hi i'd like to make an appt

me: sure, what time would you like to come in?

customer: um... i'm not sure.......let me just grab my diary......

once a customer did that, and then put me on hold....so I hung up

^^ or how about when they ring up for pricing on several parts or something, you give them all the prices, info etc which takes 10 minutes....then they say "can you give me those prices again so i can write them down...oh wait, i just need to find a pen".

You knew you were going to get infomation, if you want to write it down, by all means go for it, but be friggin ready!!!!!

getting an exhaust shop to make you a stainless intake pipe with nipples, silicon joiners and clamps out of your stock one and been quoted $150 then getting rung up to say they have finished it and is ready for pick up but is going to cost $300 tell them that you were quoted 150 and they say that was for a mild steel without clamps nipples etc etc,

you tell them you dont want it and you will be there to pick you the stock one you gave them and they tell you that you cant have it without paying the outstanding 300
