Server is now up with Correct password and the following Maps.

32 Player Map (with room for 64 players)

Strike at Karkand

Daqang Oilfields

Wake Island 2007

Please advise if you have any issues.

PB_SV_GUIDRelax 4 has been run on the server.

(Thanks for posting the command who ever that was)

I have to do some work, but I will jump in later, I have advised the clan what is going on, and they may or may not jump online as well.

Any Problems Either SMS me (Urgent Issues only), 0410 491 599, or Xfire me, and I will get to it ASAP.

If Punkbuster causes issues (I had a shitfight with it yesterday, let me know, and we will turn it off completly, will require restart of server)

I am having issues getting in.

I am using Xfire, it asks for a passwd, I type in the supplied passwd as per pm and it throws me out stating passwrd incorrect. :P

With regards to teamspeak, there really isn't any need with BF2 as it has its own built in team speak thingo does it not?

The password is sau

Teamspeak is better then BF2's VOIP 'cause it allows chatter not just inside each squad.

However, it is entirely up to you what protocol you want to use.

As for Closing time, no, as yet, I don't have an official closing time,

I will try and keep it open for as long as possible.

Estimate at least 8pm this evening, maybe longer)

Was a pretty dismal turn out.

Last time i do something like that.

But i will thank those people that came in as well as those who help made it happen!

dont loose heart man not ur fault it was organised the same day time as a cruise i think make it for 9pm again on another sunday and most of us could probably make it

as sum1 else posted they thought it was @ 9pm

Yeah, Sorry guys that I wasn't able to turn up.

Unfortunantly, my time of procrastination about household chores caught up with me, and I was forced to do them on Sunday.

Let me know the date for the next war, and as long as the Clan don't have plans for it, I am more then happy to allow you guys to utilise the BF2 Server again.

How was the server for everyone? Stable? any Issues? (We had issues the night before, So I just want to make sure everything went ok on the day)

Next time, We will start the server with 16 player maps, then upsize them as required...

(64 players on a 16 player map would be insane , Let's see if we can pull it off )

Once I reformat my machine so I can bloody get BF2 working again I'll definately be keen for a few games and will try and get some others I know to join in as well.

It's been a few months since I've played though. Apparently I can't jump and throw C4 anymore :D

Apparently I can't jump and throw C4 anymore :P

Thats right and if you havn't played it since about that time then they have made some other changes too.

PS if you wanna join the next one initially its looking to be not this weekend coming but the floowing sunday, which would make it Sunday 4th of June

Ok I have put my reminder on for Sunday the 4th of June at 9pm.

Is it the same server?

Sorry I couldn't make it either lads. Unfortunately I was out helping fix a mates car at that time. As previously suggested, a later slot would be better around 8 - 9pm.

Bit hard for alot of people to make it at lunchtime on a sunday, especially if they have been out on the turps the night before

Will take some time before you get some good turnouts, hang in there

    • I wouldn't be concerned at all, other than to suggest having them flow tested when you receive them to confirm they are reasonably similar, and then put the highest to lowest flowing ones in cylinder 6,1,5,2,4,3
    • I’m only posting this cause I thought I had seen a bad review on these somewhere before. Any feedback? Would you guys recommend that if I do buy these I send em to RC to have em checked before installing. Or any other suggestions?   https://www.ebay.com/itm/114009965865?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=JDl-15yLQ8C&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=QTzlFXB1S-S&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
    • They see me rollin' they hatin'....... Took me most of the day to make the necessary mods to the mounts to make them fit the car.  Fortunately I was able to just use the mounts that came with the rotisserie. The rear ones are really secure, the front I feel i might reinforce a bit more as it doesn't seem like enough attachment to the vehicle. I'm sure it's fine but better to be safe than (extremely...) sorry.  I drilled and tapped thread into additional M12 holes to each car mount where it attaches to the rotisserie as an extra fail-safe. Without them the side to side movement is just restricted by the allen head pinch bolts, nothing actually goes though the beam. Does now! I still need to adjust the rotisserie to get the car centred in terms of centre of gravity. If it's too high or too low relative to the rotational centre line of the car, it will be like a turtle and roll onto its back or as it currently sits, I dont think I'd be able to rotate it as it sits as it needs to lift the whole car up as it rotates. Ain't happening... I'm going to be nervous as hell the first time I go to spin it on its side...
    • Oh yes done this when the window started flopping around.  Turns out the guides that run along the rail chanel had crumbed way. Took off the door card and pulled out the window mech, then the window, which you have to pull out through the top. As said unbolt the guide rail and don't spend 30 minutes getting frustrated trying to find a way to slide it out upwards cause that don't frigging work. Drop it down and out through the door hole. All I did to repair it was slice some 10mm clear plastic tube, vertically, then screw it to the guide rail both sides. This tubing rolls inward on both sides and leaves a gap wide enough to hold the window. To finish all I did was lube the plastic tube with olive oil and Bob's your uncle . . . well if he has the operation he can be your Aunt ! !  10 bucks in plastic tube and another 5 minute job done again . . . . YEH BULLSH#T ! My love for Skylines knows no bounds !
