do you plan on modding after that? If not I would reccomend a remap depending where your ar Dr-Drift in VIC did mine (I am in Tas) and will be doing my retune... Unless you plan to leave it as is after that or live close, I would say a PFC would be best...

From my limited knowledge of r33's I would expect around 180-190rwkw once tuned from a series 2 (better turbo than the series one - nylon comperssor wheel)...

yeah thats what im after (for milestone 1) .. 190rwkw using fmic, mods i got, better dump and pfc...

so paulr33, are you saying that if i have my car dynoed at say 10psi with no fmic, then add one and redyno (with same 10psi), that there will be no power gain at all?

I have a stock r32 literally stock...but i have a fmic...it looks better:P its doesnt do anything on its own though...went your turbo warms up it provides a cooler air flow to the engine...hence and better burn in the engine...not really more power...a little but makes it more efficient when more boost is loaded into the engine...when you compress the air it gets hot so it helps with more boost and more air....but you still need the fuel and ecu to keep up.

I disagree with everyone here.

an R33 at 10psi on stock intercooler will have less power than the same car with fmic.

especially after a few good thrashings.

that little intercooler would already be heatsoaked.. with the fmic, it would still be getting cool air.

cool air would produce more power.

just like driving at night in 15 degrees compared to driving around lunch time in 25 degrees.

don't worry about re-chip for R33.

PFC is cheap these days for them.. something like $950 I think.

i put a hybrid front mount on and didn't touch the boost (kept it at 10psi) and i noticed a power increase. much more wheelspin in first and second, and steps out when i snap 3rd and chirps 4th rather well (even with 4 adults in the car and the aircon on), when it used to only just chirp (heavy duty clutch and 225 tyres). the clutch sucks for going through mcdonalds though.
