the murray/ skiing thing is a good idea..... so long as no dirt roads to get to the property.

it does seem like my life revolves around my car at the moment, so valid point Erica. So long as you're buyin the wine, i'll share.

Whats something we could hire/ do if we all chip in a bit of cash?

Fine - here is one for you Brad. Next cruise -

Alice springs for a BBQ, then whip over to Ayers rock for a

quick photo shoot.

Dont laugh - I am serious! The LS1 boys & I are already talking

about it. So better save up for some 1:1 gears for your torry.

Barossa drinking session sounds fun - but could still be done with

a pack of Skylines & designated drivers(who's going to drive my cars?)

Murray Bridge cruise/ski is obviously a separate event but would still be great to do some time before the water gets too cold.

The next (& last Sat night) street drags is on April 5th - so that weekend is out for me as I am taking 2 cars & will be very busy.

How about we organise something for the last weekend of March?

Alice Springs woot.

Well if u want i can drive one of your Hot Rods for ya and be designated driver for the day, but thats your call. Either way im interested but im not taking my car. Either that or ill go with some one else. Im easy but would be good to go out for the day with the guys and girls :]

If i cannt drink, I'm not comming on a piss up. Even if it does mean driving the 34, EVO or Blue Hearted Monsta.:burnout:

What did I just say?!?!?!?!

I hope the SUNDAY MARCH 30th idea that Andrew put forward suits everybody, cuz it suits me (and Erica, being a Sunday).

The Alice idea sounds good but, last I checked you could not get premium between Port Agutta and Alice, that was back in January though so it could have changed. Hey brad ive normally got room for a passanger if you need a seat. Ill be at the drags on the 5th, hopefully they will let me run this time.

Seeing as the idea of a big get together is to put faces to names/alias' & get to know everyone, why don’t we organise a pub/restaurant/piss up kind of 'do' rather than a car cruise type of thing, yes? kind of like the LS1.com.au guys do. They have pizza nights.

We can book somewhere well in advance, everyone can have a few drinks, (organise group taxi’s - to & from - if need be) & plenty of time in one spot for everybody to mingle so on...

If people want to party on (casino?) afterwards then they can. Those of us with youngsters (there's at least a few of us) can get them looked after for the night & bring along the missus too!

Ok so this idea doesn't involve our cars much but we can organise cruises till the cows come home later down the track!

If you guys/girls like this idea then I'm suggesting we book in at The Bombay Bicycle Club on Torrens Rd, this place ROCKS! :D Then it's on the casino to win (more likely lose) some $$$ :D

Just a suggestion : )

Im sorta favouring Whatshisname's (Matt) idea of a social gathering rather than a car orientated event.

The idea behind this suggestion by Andrew was to get to know people in the group. An evening of wining/ beering/ bourboning/ vodkaing (for the sissies) sounds great I think. Get a few drinks into people and watch the social inhibitions fly out the window.

People could makje their own way to this Bangladeshey Bikers Gang Head Quarters (unless their are other ideas of venue), and then off to the casino sounds good.

A daytime cruise that was also bought up can be organised for another day, perhaps just not the day after!!!:D ouch.

Cool! I guess we'll wait & see how many are keen for the night out option. If it has a majority vote then when Andrew gets back we can start the ball rolling. Gotta' wait to get Andrew's gives the OK. He did come up with the idea :D

Hey John have you got a few spare bucks hanging around? Maybe buy a few Autech Stagea's as group transport for SAU piss-up nights :P Of course they'll need to have done @ least a 10sec pass as well :D

    • These are small points I should actually add to my original post. GKtech makes an extended slave line for this conversion. It's what I use, and it works well. You'll also need a CD009 slave cylinder.  S/R Chassis Z33/Z34 Conversion braided clutch line As for transmission sensors, you'll need to both extend the wiring and replace the connectors. I can't recall which is which, but one is your neutral switch and the other the reverse switch. As they are just switches, just test for continuity with your transmission in neutral or reverse to figure out which is which. • I’ll try and see it could be the release bearing. As for the 4th gear grind maybe clutch doesn’t disengage properly cause it is slightly like very slightly hard to go into first could be due to the slab cylinder pin being short uni clutch is a twin plate.   Ive attached some assembly photos hopefully you can open the link and see maybe detect what’s wrong https://share.icloud.com/photos/0dc2YvW__Hl6jl-l2_0jejjpg https://share.icloud.com/photos/09e0jkWOK-vP48c1cfY6u3ViA https://share.icloud.com/photos/0b4rDmh5R7pK7fb1VtND73a3g https://share.icloud.com/photos/05eeUi_6dC4DVi80jOUYDgb0g https://share.icloud.com/photos/06335TgY1XxyIJal_wkdQLhzw
    • Yeah for sure that is peddle adjustment
    • What are your thoughts on this after having it for a while, worth getting?
    • Downshifts are harder on transmissions than upshifts, the input shaft naturally slows down once disconnected from the engine so the synchros aren't doing all the work. There's no "natural" tendency for an input shaft to increase RPM. Something is not right there, I don't have a great answer on what. You can try a dedicated GL4 75W90, I plan to switch to Motorcraft XT-M5-QS which is supposedly a very good 75W90 for NB Miatas which have a weirdly sensitive transmission from the factory. I would chase down why your clutch is making a hissing noise, that's not normal. It might be no big deal but in the absence of anything else to investigate I would look at that.
