Powers Lacking
Hi guys, I am slowly building my parts up for my turbo conversion. Currently i am running an rb25de. Just wondering wheteher i should get a safcii (as i know others have had good results) or should i just pay the extra few hundred dollars and go straight for the pfc ? Which will be better in the long run as this is what i also plan on getting done, - r33 series 2 turbo - BATMBL split dump, high flow cat - 3 inch cat back - fmic - walbro fuel pump - standard gts-t injectors - electronic boost controller - BOV (undecided on which type) Also be doing a brake upgrade either to larger rotors and maybe 4 - 6 pot calipers. Or just doing a full porsche brake upgrade. So yeah any ideas on what i should do ? Cheers Edited May 4, 2006 by Powers Lacking Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/116316-turbo-conversion/ Share on other sites

Cheers if the engine is an r32 series you have swapped in exactly the same injectors power fc is the only way to go, no doubts about it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/116316-turbo-conversion/#findComment-2138975 Share on other sites

DivHunter
Is it a S1 or S2 engine? S1 have bigger injectors than S2. Definately go the PFC for that few hundred more you get so many more options than a SAFC. Powers Lacking
Its a series 1 rb25de. so you guys are saying its the same injectors as the rb25det ? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/116316-turbo-conversion/#findComment-2139041 Share on other sites
Wink
Get the PFC. SAFC is too limited when it comes to turbo upgrading. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/116316-turbo-conversion/#findComment-2139064 Share on other sites
Tangles
If the car is auto - get the safc If manual - then PFC Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/116316-turbo-conversion/#findComment-2139237 Share on other sites
