How Many People Does It Take To Change An R34 Parklight?

Hi Guys,

I need to change the front parklight bulb in my 4 door R34 GTT. I just can't find an easy access to remove the bulb. Do I have to unscrew the whole headlight unit to get to it?

Anyone's found an easier way?

How hard have you been looking?

Open bonnet.

Look behind light assembly for a hole in the rubber flaps.

Stick you hand in there and turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise.

Pull it out.

Small hands are best.

if its like the 33 its possible but just a pain in the ass... follow abo's instructions

Unfortunately it isn't as simple as getting in the rubber flaps and twisting the bulb out. It isn't the head light I am talking about. It's the parklight. It's the one right on the outside and there are no rubber flaps covering it. It looks inaccesible.

I'll see if I can get some pictures of it tomorrow.

Hi i had to do this yesterday....If you stick your hand right in there you will get it out....It is a little tricky to get it back in though but it can be done..I almost pulled the headlight out but i did manage to do it....

Good luck....That is the least of my problems i have had in the last little while...

Its easy if you have small hands like me show us ur hands!

Basically as abo bob said..its twist and turn, pull out, replace bulb, then put back in and twist and turn again..5 min job if tht...Didn't have to move nothing...

Just get your girlfriend to do it, its very easy if you have small hands .

I am just trying to do it in my s2 r33. can't fit my shovel sized hand in there though. might have to wait till the housemate gets back. pain in the ass though

I still haven't gotten around to it yet. For me I guess I'll just have to take the battery out and try to emulate Houdini.

Well I've done the near impossible. Changed the bulb. I cannot believe it was as simple as twisting the rear end parklight and pulling it out. Here I was trying first to unplug the connecting wires, by pulling it straight back. Stupid me!

My old corolla was a lot more intuitive I must say.

Infact, it wasn't me, but a mechanic friend who figured it out for me.
