"skyline" Rear Window Sticker!?, Anyone Seen These Or Know Where To Get One From?!

Recommended Posts

Hey has anyone seen the rear window stickers which is white text and reads "skyline". It sits up the top of the window and spreads all the way across. I have attached a shitty picture of one. I have seen them around but I dont know where to get them from! Maybe they were a factory option?

Anyway - if anyone has one which is still ready to be applied or knows where to get these from - please let me know and we can work out a deal.

My number is 0402-487-085

Thanks!

Chris.

just go to a sticker/sign shop and get them to make one. will cost you about $20. i had them make up two 2 foot by 2 foot stickers for the work trailer for $55 for both.

the silver ones you see at autobarn are illegal.

hey guys!

thanks for your help and replies.

im looking for the long skyline sticker that goes INSIDE the back window - up the top. if this helps!?

i have been shopping around for one for ages! i went in to unique autosports the other day and they had never seen them.. although that same guy there on the day also told my mate that there are no S15 genuine mats and that he would have to wait 3 months and pay $400+ for a custom set to be made up..

$400 for custom mats is a bit rich. just go to autobarn and get some customs for about $130. I'm sure they would make them for a s15. A sticker place will make them for whereever you want them to go. they just take a photo of the car and take some meaurements. then they put it on the computer and use the measurements to make it to scale then have the computer do the rest.

if you want floor mats try tru fit carpets or something. they do custom mats, intereor carpets for cars etc. i was quoted $140 i thin for 3 mates with a logo on them i think, was a while ago. dunno if they do many imports tho, ill have a squiz.

    • The only Neo rods that were any different to any other RB25 rods were the DET ones, and they were the same as RB26. Here is a Neo DET rod. O5U part number visible. Here is a post in a thread here on SAU with evidence from someone who has done this before. There are photos in the thread of normal RB25 rods.
    • Sure, but why assume that will be the case forever? And why assume you'll be able to do an oil change to swap back to a stock drain bolt before that happens? And does it even matter when I change the oil at fairly short intervals? Life can be funny sometimes and unexpected things can happen. Like breaking a collarbone so you can't do any work on your car for a few months but the oil change is due so you have to take it to somewhere and hope they don't do something stupid like stacking the new drain plug washer on top of the old one.
    • Do u know how to identify the rods are rb25 or neo ones? Can u look into the pics and tell me is they de or de neo ones. Its confusing becoz my motor has de neo head but block is 25de 75t, so really confusing me about rods, crank.
    • Are you talking about the oil squirters? There is only one place for them to go. Yes, you have to drill the holes. Yes you have to obtain the correct oil squirters (I presume there is some sort of aftermarket option available, because original turbo ones are going to be a diminishing resource).
    • I thought you didn't let mechanics, especially those with no idea, work on your car any more? Wouldn't that mean it won't be an issue in your case?
