Clutch Making Noise.. Hummmmmmmmmmm

G'day guys..

I'm happy to announce I recently purchased a HR32 GTR Godzilla.

I do have this one concern though, there is a high pitched sound, like a hum that is quite audible and annoying.

I know it has something to do with the clutch, because if i dis-engage the clutch (press in the clutch pedal), the noise stops.

So far i've been told it is the "thrust bearing"..

I also know that the gearbox has recently been changed in my car, and have heard that when a gearbox change occurs, there needs to be some kind of re-adjustment of the clutch, is this true?

Any body else had the same problem or know what it might be?

some gearboxes are abit whiny at idle and forward gears. not un common.

you need to tell me how fast it goes at 4 grand in the first 3 gears. so i can workout if its got a differant gear set.
