Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help me out with the wiring for a HKS CDI. From what I can gather you splice the negative wires coming from the coil packs into the yellow wires on the CDI box but what do you do with the positives? There is only a single wire on the CDI for positive, yet theres 6 coils?

Any info would be appreciated

You pick the positive up from the TPS plug from memory, ill check later this afternoon and let you know exactly which wire ok. Can even email you the wiring diagram if ya like.

I can't answer your question, but what I can say is that for very little money from Nengun (around 35 bucks from memory) there are specific vehicle harness kits that make this a simple plug in afair. Took less than 5 mins with one of these on my R32 GT-R

Talked to a couple of places and was advised the wiring harness was next to impossible to get at the moment as HKS have delayed production. Might give Nengun an email and see if they have any in stock.

There is a three pin plug that feeds the coils.....you get your 12+ from the middle wire at this plug. Also have a splicing loom if you require one. Let me know. The plug in loom is $95 and Performance Wholesale in QLD have 1 left in stock....be quick!!

Do these things work with an RB25DET motor and if so what is the advantage?

Will this work with stock coils on the rb26dett or do you need to upgrade the coil?
