Thanks Munna1, that is very helpful.
I noticed tonight that my car has a flat-spot between about 3000-4000 rpm. What would cause this? As far as I am aware the car is running factory boost, but I don't know for sure...

My car did the same thing when it was stock not all the time but every noun again try regaping your plugs to 0.8.

Thanks, I will give that a try, seems to be the easiest thing to check first, the car is getting serviced next week, so I will get some 0.8 plugs put in then.

  How did you drain the oil if you couldn't get the sump plug out? But that sort of thing is why when doing diffs and gearboxes, I always check I can get the full plug out before pulling the drain plug.

  I should change the oil in my Ute, can’t remember the last time I did it. Can promise there won’t be any putting shitty oil in and changing it again though
