Connecting a digital Air/Fuel ratio Guage to my car and i need to find a positive wire. I need one after the ignition so it turns itself off. Tried my turbo timer but that didn't work, don't ask me why as that turns itself after i turn the car off.

Any easy ideas as their is a shitload of wires under the dash.

Cheers

You answered your own question, by its very nature to keep the engine and turbo running after the keys have been removed from the ignition, it needs both a positive and negative signal (constant).

I would splice off the cig lighter, or use a multi meter and find an appropriate wire. It shouldn't be hard, just put it on dc, ground the negative probe, and probe the appropriate wires in the area your looking at to find a 12v (prob come across as around 13v) signal.

Once you've found one, turn the ignition off and see if the voltage dissapears, if it does, viola!

All fixed up now, spliced into the cigarette lighter and then i remembered the ciggy lighter doesnt work. So i didnt have any power. Checked the fuses, (Cant read JAP) found the broken fuse and presto all works fine. Now i have a digi A/F guage reading constant Air Flow numbers so i can do some fine tuning

Cheers
