Is it normal for a R32 GTR to come with a 180Kph speedo, what can i expect as problems associated with it as i plan to race this car and not drive it on roads.

Yes, the gentlemans agreement in Japan means thet they are limited to 180kph, easy to get around with a speed cut defender or something. There are also many aftermarket dashboards that read to 300kph, or install an external digital one - there is a kit from jaycar for instance

Just cause the needle stops doesnt mean the car will. Aftermarket 300KM/PH speedo's are usually quite expensive, and dont get much use.
