Just want to say a big thank you to E.T.S uk as purchased the Generation 2 supercharger a few weeks ago and works like a charm could not believe the performance gain on my Honda civic 1.4i 16v

Not suprising, I've owned electric pencil sharpeners with probably more torque.

You'd be suprised what people will chuck on their cars in an effort for perceived power, kinda like the young bloke at work who does our onsite security who owns a sube RX. Its not a bad little car, runs alright when its not in the panel shop from him hitting things/other road users with but anyway the muppet shows me this X-Force muffler he's found near a speedhump near where he lives.

Finders keepers, doesnt seem damaged and all the bits on it are ok apart from where some bogan drove over a speed hump too fast and scratched it, leaving it behind and not noticing it... :worship:

So I figure I'll help him swap it out with the original on the Sube and leave it at that if he wants a chrome cock hanging off the back of his wagon for whatever reason. Goes buzzing off sounding like a happy flat-four chainsaw and comes back the next week.

"Aw man I can feel the difference!"

'Where? From your ears bleeding?"

"No, serious bro it just feels like its got more power."

You cant make people understand these things with rational logic so I gave up trying to make them.

Haha some1 asks if it will work on a kawasaki bike. They told them they havent tested it on bikes.

Looks like a bit of silicon hose with a pod filter and an actuator or blow of valve. Some1 should buy 1 and do some real testing then report them to ebay for false avertising.

Revs to 40000rpm wat a load of sh*t.

Haha wat a joke!

Looks like a pod filter, silicone hose and I'm guessing an electronic BOV.

..

SICKKKK BRO..... lol racsov500 ... The dude in your signature picture owns 3.. TRIPLE FILTERS BRO.. SIKK

I love the quasi credibility on there. Like the quasi-tuning theory, the quasi-dyno graph, it's all voodoo.. gotta love it. .. I also like the part where it says will not ship to canada blah blah and blah. I'm thinking to myself probably from out standing court cases.

Also people are buying it checkout his feedback.. this guy couldnt afford the stage 3 he had to go the stage 2.. only revs to 37,500rpm - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=8048768324

idiots.

I couldn't NOT do it. I reported this guy to ebay.. However in writing my letter I noticed this guy doesn't lie anywhere in the post. But he's still misleading people.

This reminds me of a mate from school, He bought a set of those sports pedals and told me he can feel a little bit more acceleration with them. I asked him how it would do this and this was his explaination...

"Because the surface of the pedal is higher you can push the accelerator pedal down further and faster. Because you can push it down that extra bit it opens the motor more.... meaning you can go faster...."

BTW, this is a 100% true story :teehee:

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
