Rb20 And Rb25 Cam Covers The Same?

i want to paint my cam covers on my stagea and my mate has some rb20 ones laying around so it would be easier to paint them and swap them over straight away than having to have my car sitting there useless for a day but im not sure if they are the same?

they look the same to me but im only guessing.

can anyone tell me for sure so i dont paint them and realise they dont fit?

Am I right to say that teh rb20 can have what ever rocker/cam covers? eg rb25, rb26..

i know of an r31 cam cover fitting an r32gtr so presume it fits

pack our your cas with two washers for each bolt...you just need to measure the cover thickness of the rubber spots where it bolts through and make sure its the same distance away. Then you can have your cover off and use your car.

I think from memory when i measured the cam cover thickness it was like 3.xmm

All the crankcase ventilation stuff is different. I guess you could make appropriate mods to handle this. And the valley cover bolts are a different pattern - so you would need to have the RB20 cover (assuming you are running the cover).

I got them side by side and looked at the differences and decided it was too hard.

i'll just live without my car for a day
