Hey

I have one more mate who wants to enter... he doesn't drive a Skyline though, can he enter through RENEW? He owns a 13B RX3

Also, do we provide our own numbers on the day or is this catered for by SAU? :nyaanyaa: *Adam*

Neil will probably be there. But, we are encouraging all entrants - from both RENEW, SAU and anywhere else for that matter - to arrange getting their own numbers. Be they a piece of paper in the window, some tape on the side of the car, or the little stickers that a lot of you guys used at Oran Park.

Any numbers that we may be able to provide would be in an emergency backup situation, but we cannot guarantee this.

In the next week or so, Nathan (MrG) will send out an email to those guys who have entered, advising you of the number you have been allocated.

Do we just randomly pick a number between 00 and infinity?

And stick it on like what Adam did last time? (not Abo Adam, other one)

Hey doodz, if you mean me all i did was print up my number on A4 landscape as big as it would fit on the page, then i got clear contact that was about 20mm bigger allround then the A4 paper and stuck it on my car! So paper is protected just in case it rained. :D

YA :D hehe.. Is the contact ok for the car's paint?

I might do that unless someone can supply stickers with numbers

Isn't Steve N1GTR supposed to be on that list?

Not after Monday mate :D

Sounds like their is plenty of interest in this trackday, pitty higher numbers weren't available (no doubt 5 or so will dropout by lunchtime tho).

No doubt all will be GTR's

    • Last year I got a set of MCA street coilovers for my turbo Forester after my son hitting a concrete gutter/wall on a small bridge causing the whole drivers side suspension to get bent because the rain just made the car slide out I love them, I think they were $2400. even had a hiccup of have the wrong hub configuration (my fault) so got onto MCA and they sent the correct shock ends overnight parts from QLD, for free!  I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of the product
    • They've had some weird failures on their brake actuators. One of them was because they added some kind of lubricant to the factory fill brake fluid that aftermarket brake fluid didn't have so it would affect the seals. Another was just mysterious, probably internal corrosion or something eating away at Prius brake actuators. Parts alone for those are a few thousand USD so not a cheap fix.

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
