And so on for the others (couldnt be stuffed covering the floor with EVERY single one)........

So thats one less thing you lot have to worry about

Thanks for that!

Some final info will be posted up soon, mostly for the 1st timers but you will all need to read it.

Scutineering starts at 8am and finishes at 8:45am if you dont get your car done in this time period you will need to wait until after the drivers briefing.

Woot! Looking forward to this foshizzle... been doing some servicing the last couple of nights so the car will pretty much be fresh (belts; fluids; all filters).

New tyres go on today  Not expecting any super-low times as I'm not running any boost at the moment :D But will be a good comparison for next time when I do go back with boost (hopefully) :D

why no boost?

soo!! may be heading down on sunday.. i vaguely remember the way, but does anyone else have street names/directions?! :D

Easy, once you're on the highway, take the Goulburn exit, then follow that for a while, you will cross a bridge, turn left at the first set of lights after the bridge, follow that for a while. Go past a pub and some shops, then there will be an UNDERpass of the track tracks - ignore that - you want the OVERpass which is on the left (theres a sign) go over the tracks there and follow that, then just cruise along until you see a racetrack on your left :)

    • Last year I got a set of MCA street coilovers for my turbo Forester after my son hitting a concrete gutter/wall on a small bridge causing the whole drivers side suspension to get bent because the rain just made the car slide out I love them, I think they were $2400. even had a hiccup of have the wrong hub configuration (my fault) so got onto MCA and they sent the correct shock ends overnight parts from QLD, for free!  I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of the product
    • They've had some weird failures on their brake actuators. One of them was because they added some kind of lubricant to the factory fill brake fluid that aftermarket brake fluid didn't have so it would affect the seals. Another was just mysterious, probably internal corrosion or something eating away at Prius brake actuators. Parts alone for those are a few thousand USD so not a cheap fix.

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
