Hey guys and gals,

I got a new job and its about 50- 60kms return trip each day, so I thought about buying a cheap runabout car just for work.

who here has one?

what is it?

or would you not bother and just keep driving the 'line???

thinking around 2k

Im thinking fuel too....as in the line would use alot more to say a pulsar or something and its just normal unleaded....other side of the coin is i love the line too much hahah

why yes, yes it was me ! i was the 33, with the two black 32 gtst's :P

If Your After something cheap,reliable and really good onpetrol....Like i said before, really couldnt gopast a old Honda Civic...But Than again, you will miss the line way 2much!!!!

I Spotted so many lines going to palmy on Sun....

I wasnt actually driving,but you would have seen my car?it was parked on the main road at avalon...Black 33 with for sale signs on back window???

I dunno. I don't like bikes as commuters. Not particularly safe, and in 60kms of peak hour traffic there's a lot of risk.

If everyone commuted on bikes or scooters its OK, but when you're dodging soccer mums in 4WDs and mad tradies in vans, its a tad too dangerous.

And when it rains, you're in trouble.

Nissan Pulsar N12 or N13.

I picked up my 1990 Nissan Pulsar Hatch for $3K cash over 2 years ago now to use a A-B daily runabout.

Was it excellent condition inside and out with approx 100K km's on the clock.

*touch wood* it has not missed a beat!! Just had to replace the dizzi, handbrake cable, thats it. Just general low cost wear n tear items which I do all myself.

These cars a reknown to just keep on going and going with little problems!

I had a 1994 excel that I owned for 2 years 40000 ks later I sold it having never serviced it once :O never missed a beat and used bugger all fuel sure they are ghey and are made of crap stuff inside but for getting from A-B in the cheapest manner possible ther are pretty good!

feel sorry for the person who got it after u , wonder what the oil looked like after 40000

Mate if u got 2 grand to spent u can get a mad car I had kingwoods , datsun 180Bs and 1600, geminis , coronas , mazda 121s all with rego for under 1 grand the 1600 had flames painted on it so just think about the car u will get for 2 grand
