R33 Fog Lights-how Do I Turn Em On?!

Had my 33 gtst for about 6 months now and just realised Ive never used the fog lights and dont know how to wheres the switch?!

How do I explain this.. Lol it's the same with how you turn your rear wiper on but on the right stalk. You do know that you have a rear wiper right? Heh. Cheers bro!

It's unlikely your 94 Skyline has fog lights. Those clear bits next to the indicators don't have globes in them.

The ones on the bottom are the factory option driving lights.

The switch is just on the inside of the headlight switch if your car is fitted with them

Weird question but I had a friend who got fined for driving with his fogs on. Something about you're not allowed to turn on your fogs unless its a foggy day. Can anyone verify this?

I havn't gotem'!!! what a rip why put fake fog lamps on! can you put the indicator stalk and wiring from a series 2 on a series 1?

Pretty sure this was an option on early r33 gts-t. I've seen this on a couple of cars.

The switch is located down near the gear shift sorround. Where those little coin slot things are.

The cops can fine you for using them when its not foggy or raining about $90 i think.

Its like the one on the wiper stalk to activate the rear wiper, but on the indicator if that helps?

@MintR33: are the two different set physically the same size? Can i replace my non-foglights with real fog lights in the same bumper?

I cant really tell from the pics whether they are the same size or not.

Yes the sets are the same size, yes you could swap them over but you will need all the wiring to go with it.

The switch is on the indicator stalk. Quite simple really. My car has them and is a series one. There is also a relay in the engine box. It is under the fuse box cover. Any thing else?

i was gonna wire up a switch by the coin holders near the handbrake.

yeah a couple more questions:

- does the car beep when you leave you factory fog lights on after you turn off the car?

- and does the dash light up as well?

e.g. does the car behave like you have you normal beam on?

I find the fog lights on my SII very useful especially when driving at night, they give me a brighter short distance view not to mention she looks awfully sexy when cruising with the fog n park lights on turns many heads hehe...

and to verify, YES it is illigal to have them on in normal driving conditions... (NSW)

yep, they are illegal here in NZ too.

although theres alot of cars with 4 lights driving around; 2 normal beam and 2 more lower down in the bumper like the r33. what would those be? ppl driving illegally or are those lower ones also dipped?

how hard is it to wire the new switch to the buzzer that warns you that you left the lights on?

i dont want to leave them on and drain the battery
