Are you referring to a Boost setting in the Power FC computer - I read somewhere that it has a boost control setting? So you don't need an EBC if you have a PFC computer?

No no im referring to the additional boost controller solenoid thingy you can buy spearately to use with the PFC. But i think the PFC does have several boost settings but not sure.

The PFC Boost Control Kit (BCK) is an add-on to the PFC. It uses the Hand Controller to change the boost settings.

Physically, it uses the same solenoid as the AVCR so there isn't much of a difference. The AVCR does have a couple of extra functions (gear/rpm based boost settings), and a ricey blue screen.

Here's a few links for similar threads.

..and so on. :P

Does anyone know the price of the PFC boost control kit? I am looking at buying a PFC pretty soon, and figure I may as well get the boost control as well rather than getting a separate boost controller.

I am in exactly the same boat as u :P

I think in the group buy for PFC the boost controller is $440, or you can go to www.perfectrun.com.au they have it for around $400 + delivery

Cheers

Phil

    • All of your suspension bushes/bolts etc, should also only ever be tightened when the car is sitting with full weight too.   IE, jack it back up, shove a heap of stuff down so you can lower the wheels onto so the car is "on the ground" but you have room to get under it.   It's why when properly done, you should be able to remove the shock and spring, but the arms won't go to 100% droop. If you don't do the above, you'll destroy your bushes.

    • These arrived today! Sadly I'm going to probably be smart and enjoy the car as is over the summer/sunny period and save the ~2 weeks downtime it'd take to swap the heads over and tune later in the year. Maybe. It's going to be pretty damn tempting seeing these bolt on funs just sitting in storage when they're ready to go. There's a non-zero chance I end up @The Bogan'ing it.
