Monitor is less than 6 months old, currently being used as the centre of our home entertainment system. It supports D-SUB, DVI-D, Component, Composite and S-Video inputs, all can be used simultaneously except for D-SUB and DVI-D which can't be used together.

I have all original packaging and cables, balance of 3 year, next business day replacement, parts warranty.

Retailed for about $1,600 when I bought it. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, no dead pixels, no faults, nothing, selling because I need cash pretty bad after being screwed by my old job while moving house heh >_<

I am asking $1,000 + postage to wherever.

I live on the Gold Coast and can obviously organise pickup from anywhere nearby.

Email is the best way to reach me ([email protected]), I'll check back here as often as I can but I can check email more.

Cheers,

Ben.

600, pics?

$600 is a tad low don't you think? It's less than 6 months old, in perfect condition, all original packaging with 2.5+ years left on next business day replacement warranty... The new model 2407FPW is out, retailing for $1,599 and the only difference between the two is HDMI support over DVI-D. $900 + postage would be the lowest I'd go, anything less and it's not worth selling, sorry. (Just checked the current ebay asking price, and it sits on average at US$600 + US$80 postage.)

I don't have a digital camera so I can't take pics of my exact screen but I'll give you some links to reviews with pics, I can't do much better than that.

Jaded Gamer Review

XBox360 on 2405FPW (1080 Hi-Def)

Just another pic

Tom's Hardware Review

In regards to the Tom's Hardware review, in the end of the review they say the monitor's latency isn't acceptable for gaming and that ghosting is very evident in both gaming and movies. I can say from experience that this is in fact not true. Games are unbelievable on this screen and movies are just as good. The viewing angle is awsome, as I said it's currently being used as the display for our home theatre, DVDs are watchable from any angle of our lounge room with no problems at all.

ouch, that Tom's Hardware review bags it a few different ways ....

$700?

Heh, I included Tomshardware because they are quite professional in their reviews, also because I am very confident with the monitor itself. They point out some flaws yes, but they also say that it has some of the absolute best results of any monitor they'd tested to date, two extremes, you have to consider both.

In regards to them bagging it a few different ways, as I said, the ghosting is not visible. I am/was an avid gamer, playing everything from Quake4, FEAR, WoW on it, and they were spectacular, I never noticed any ghosting to speak of. Same with movies, my roommates and I currently watch movies on it nightly, every person who comes over and sees a movie on it for the first time, comments on how awsome it is for watching DVDs on, those parts of the Tomshardware review I can refute from experience, and can only put their results down to the fact that they are extremely picky, which they are.

$900 I'll do, but it is in perfect condition as I've said, it's just not worth me selling it less. Besides, $700 won't cover the bills I'm selling it to pay so it voids the entire reason for the sale :)

It's a great monitor and while I appreciate the offers, I honestly can't afford to sell it below $900, even if I wanted to. It is well worth the money and you wouldn't be disappointed with it at all. Balance of warranty, 3 years next business day replacement on parts, full box, all cables, everything, like new.

Cheers,

Ben.

just saw one from the link but its not too clear

Sorry for the late update people, internet crapped out last day or so. Currently have a sale in the works at $1,000. I've gotten two PMs, both have been replied to, if the sale falls through I'll update again.

Sorry again for the late update.

Cheers,

Ben.

Thanks for the support, it is a brilliant monitor. I ran it on a 7800GTX before we moved house and started using it for home entertainment. Would love to see an xbox360 on it *drool*.

Still waiting on confirm/deny of current sale. Will update.

Ok, seems the friend is now unsure as to whether or not he wants the screen because now he wants a skyline, who can blame him though? Lol.

I've received 3 pm/emails in regards to people interested in buying it for $800+postage. I am going to the post office after I finish posting this with the box measurements, I'm going to get a freight+insurance cost and then post that info here.

I will be replying to the 3 pm/emails I've received and the first person to get back to me with a definite yes gets first dibs.

Cheers,

Ben.

    • I like it when the counter chick leads you out the back into the racks and says "have a grub around in here and see if you can find what you need. I'll be back in a few minutes. Just left me in front of a massive motorised shelving system and 2-3 million fasteners, so I could find a peculiar SS shoulder bolt with cap head. Gotta love country towns.
    • I used this https://osgiken.com.au/product/os-giken-os-250r-lsd-gear-oil-80w250-1-litre/   shut my nismo 1.5 pro up by heaps…. Not silent though. Gives the car character and personality. It ain’t a carolla. If you want silent, put a quaife in it.
    • It's about the same time for me from Bunnings, or the Fasteners. My big push away from takeaway food, and gluten in general keeps me away from the Bunnings Snags too! Weather up here, I've been out for two walks today in the beautiful sunshine. Had a few little drizzles, and some wind, that honestly, a tin of beans and I could compete on how harsh she blows Thankfully, being this bit inland, we're not getting anything much really. Will probably pick up a bit more when/if Cyclone Alfie decides to come ashore. A few areas in the GC though, and south into NSW are really getting smashed though! Right now, I'm just annoyed Alfie hasn't hit, as I'm not allowed to crack into the BBQ foods like the bacon and eggs until the Cyclone hits "In case we lose power"...
    • I love fastener joints, the price difference between them and joints like Bunnings or Super Cheap is amazing, and they either have exactly what you want, or they can get it to quick They have even given me some for free when I only needed a couple of specific size In saying this, I have paid premium for fasteners from Bunnings if they have the sizes I need, but only for convenience really, as my local is only 10 minutes away, the Sushi joint near them is also a consideration  How's the weather Matt? Stay safe mate
    • Wideband is worth setting up if only for tuning purposes. I would not mess with the ignition system unless there's a misfire. HKS crank trigger is popular out here for the relatively easily sourced Denso crank sensor, not a bad idea to install as well regardless of power level on a standalone. Boost leak test is worth thinking about. Oil pressure sensor tied to a fuel cut isn't a bad idea either. Getting the tune figured out is a good idea. Without putting eyes on it and getting under it there's no way for us to tell you exactly what it needs but most likely you're down to the last 10% that will make a big, big difference in how happy you are with the car.
