Well its an alteration from stock.

Could be classed as a fire hazard, but who knows these days what is and what isnt legal.

the oil flowing through lines around the engine bay, if the hose got caught between the engine and chassis, could be punctured or something.

Its not saying that all installs are illegal, as most people know how to do it right, but there will always be one in the bunch that does something stupid.

In Victoria almost everything is illegal in some way the trick is can they see it or find it

Anyway dont even bother ringing vicroads because they will tell you to go on the net and get

a VASS list

This list has engineers numbers on it you need to ring them

just ask em about mods they know all the rules and up to date regs.

I'd be interested to see about the oil cooler. A lot of us have them and have never been quized about them. I was defected by Pettett and he knew his stuff. Had no issue with the oil cooler.
