High Flow Injectors With Standard Comp

just wondeing if anyone has used high flowed jecs injectors and would the car run fine if i got these high flowed injectors and tuned the standard ecu in a r33

iirc the std ecu in a r33 cannot be retuned due to there not being any external memory and the rom info stored in the cpu.

safc or power fc or some kind of standalone for you myfriend...

I've heard high flowed injectors can cause poor idle and not perform well if they haven't been properly done.

You definitely need fuel management not possible on stock ecu.

Sometimes you need full sequential control to get good idle.

I'm still undecided about high flows.

My Haltech E6K is far from the latest model and might not work. Only supports semi-sequential or group firing.

the question i am asking is why do you want to run larger injectors on a stock ecu? if you are at the path where you need larger injectors surely you would benefit a lot from a complete retune of a real ECU as apposed to a bandaid with the stock ECU.

the reason i was asking was because i found cheap injectors and was wondering if i could put them in and tune it till i get more money for a powerfc

Are you refering to all stock ECU's in general or just the R33??

If the stock ECU has a chip, its no longer stock...

if thats the comment thats gonna come out
