Aircon Removal

im thinking of removing the aircon how hard a job is it, and can you remove the unit which is driven by the belt and get it rid of it alltogether, does it save a alot of weight and room in under the bonnet

Go the whole hog and remove the aircon radiator and all the connection pipes as well, put them on scale and tell us, I'd guess 15-20 kilos, they all should just unbolt, the one uder the dash I'd leave unless you've got a spare 4hrs.
