Boost Controller For External Wastegate

hey guys running a Garret GT35 with an external gate and im looking for an ebc to buy. Have done a few searches and couldnt really find what i was looking for. Im probably going to go for the Trust/Greddy profec b spec II or the power fc boost control kit.

Just wondering what people are using and what they recommend.

Run it off the appropriate gate spring dude.

As discussed many times, far better.

If you need to bleed 2-3 psi, bleed valve is fine.

Ran my car that way for a long time, totally reliable.

Hey, do you mean to change the spring in the wastegate so the wastegate setting is higher?

im currently running a TIAL 44mm wastegate with the standard setting of 8psi.

Spot on

Get the spring rate as close as you can to the boost you are going to be running.

You might not be able to get a spring combo exact, and then just bleed the rest out, usually only 2-3psi

or if you have a power fc grab the boost control kit..

boost control via an electronicly controlled solinoid is far better than bleeding the air to the gate via a t peice and screw valve IMO.

but use both ideally, if your looking at running 20psi then definately get a stiffer spring also.

Hey just wondering what electronic boost controller would be best to run an external wastegate? im deciding between the power fc boost control kit or a profec b spec II. Im probably going to change the wastegate spring aswell but i want to run an electronic boost controller as well as that.
