I am not sure if this is the right place for this, but I could not see a specific section for pics of our cars, so if it is in the wrong section, I apologise.

Anyway, here is a couple of pics of my newly acquired black R33 Series II GTS-T. It is basically stock except exhaust system and HKS pod filter. It also has 17" mags, lowered, and has Cusco front and rear strut braces.

She looks to be in pretty good nick, only 72000 on the clock (whether that is genuine I am not sure), the interior is immaculate.

Feel free to make any comments (good or bad) you like, this is my first Skyline so I am interested to see what other people think.

got a black s2 myself mate, and let me say yours looks very tidy. not overdone, just nice and simple and sexy...just how i like it. congratulations on the purchase, enjoy it :D

Nah, I got it from a car yard on Parramatta Rd. I won't mention who because I don't have too many nice things to say about them.

I also discovered my car has a turbo back exhaust - 3" from turbo to cat, Catco cat, 3.5" cat back into HKS cannon. It also has braided brake lines.

dont know what problems you're having with the car quinny, but as i said before, ive got a black s2, and yours just looks fantastic. I'm very tempted to remove the S badge on the bonnet after seeing yours...

Then again the paint job on yours looks a lot better than mine so that probably helps a lot :devil:

Your pics don't show a badge?

Mine is there, I had to buy it brand new ($60!!) because the previous owner stuck a Silvia badge on there... with superglue or something. It didn't look pretty when it was removed.

Not really having any problems with the car, had to replace the clutch after only having it for 2 weeks, which was a mission. Took us half a day to get the car apart and change the clutch, about 2 days to get the box back in, and about 2 hours to bolt everything else back up.

The only other problems I have is that side skirts have come unstuck, which looks a little crap, but that should be pretty easy to fix, and also my passenger side headlight keeps getting water in it.

The badge was not on the car when I bought it, so I take it the previous owner took it off. I probably would have removed it anyway.

Yes, I now have a second full time job - trying to keep my car clean. I washed it on the weekend and it was dirty again before I finished...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have been tempted to sell the car after only having it for 6 weeks, but I don't really want to, I am just so worried about something happening to it.

      I wonder if there is much to tell without knowing where the bolts where bought from. If it comes from Amazon or similar all bets are off. Can't trust them. And I fear not everybody knows that. Wasn't it @TurboTapin who ended up with the fake fuel lines recently? The submersible ones which very much weren't submersible at all. It kind of applies to everything nowadays. Doesn't matter if it's hardware or electronics. The fancy camera might have internals swapped out for cheap knockoffs. The hard drive will report a certain size but not actually be able to write it all. Shit like that. A bit depressing but the reality is you really have to be weary of where and how you buy stuff

      My guess is, cheap rods, came from a site selling lots of cheap things, and likely a lot of knock off stuff.   I get doing a cheap build, but I don't get doing a huge dollar build, and then skimping on something even like the rods, and likely the bolts to go with it, especially if heaps of stuff had to be fabricated!

      Today myself and a mate tracked a fuel pump issue down to this amazing piece of workmanship in the fuel cradle loom. Covered by conduit and electrical tape. so now we should be moving onto the first fire once this is corrected. 🤞🤔

      1000% percent the looks just aren't visible, I was shocked when i found out the the only thing holding the OEM diff ( rear side ) is one stud was can easily crack when trying to launch the car or really beating on it, hence why this brace connects to the subframe/control arms and even includes a fancy jackpoint, With the forced induction route, I would have quickly launched the diff out the back of the car without this upgrade. The Z1 and GK tech don't offer the same "cool" look so to speak.
