Just wondering, im looking at buying a 32 and ive test driven a few. The one that i test drove today had a 25 turbo on it. However, whenever i gave it some, the turbo would wind up and then around 4 grand, about 5 psi on boost gauge, the car would stop accelerating though the turbo would go crazy and fully wind up. What is this, how do u stop it?

Easy, don't buy it! Seriously, If they're trying to sell it like that, something smells sus and would probably be well worth steering clear of!

And you'd have to ask yourself how long this has been allowed to occur and what damage it has done?

its hard to work out exactly what you mean

i interpret it as at 5grand the turbo heeps spinning but runs out of power?

if so, this sounds like the stock turbo, not an rb25 turbo...

also, is it 5psi or 5 on the stiock gauge? the stock gauge reads in mmHg and 5mmHg is equivalent to about 9.5psi

either way, if you are not happy with the car, don't buy it

cheers,

Warren

yeah, like u said, at about 4 - 5 grand (rpm) the car looses speed, however the turbo keeps spooling up and then when i back off the bov goes off! On the stock gauge, it is about half way between the half way mark and the 7. not sure if that makes sense
