Turbos And Carby Cleaner

Do you think it is ok to use carby cleaner on a turbo?

Just give it a quick spray to clean it out??

Or what would be suitable to clean a turbo?

i do it all the time on customers cars, never had a prob. but i use throttle body cleaner not carby cleaner, doesnt harm seals or sensors. and i use a good quality not $2 crap. dont know 100% but i personaly have never had a prob.
