Hey Guys Car Crashed Need Help With Good Panel Beater On South Side

Recommended Posts

Well long story cut short, was too drunk to drive back from valley the other night so thought i'd do the responsible thing and let my friend drive who was not drinking (i know, i know never let anybody drive ur car...), got about 2kms away from valley when he lost control in 2nd and slid into a concrete barrier on the ramp leading to the se fwy, impact was not big but was enough to squash my intercooler, smash my front L light and damage front L fender. I have all new aftermarket parts to fix but need the front left of the engine bay (where the intercooler pipeing goes thru) pulled out and straightened a bit and the crash bar repaired. Can any one point me in the direction of somebody who can repair this well and has exp with working on Skylines preferably on the southside (kuraby area) that aint gonna charge my thru the ass...

I am also going to need a pair of wide body Left and Right fenders and TR style front bar trimmed, prepped, fitted and painted, so if anyone knows anyone with good experience in this field. Please let me know.

I seen a few Liners drive past me on the night too (embarassing...) Damn tow truck that night cost me $250.00!!!!!!!!!!! too.

Yeah, he's a good mate and feels pretty damn bad... I am gonna help him out thou as i feel partly responsible. The car is setup to drift so dosen take much effort to get the rear end out, something he didnt seem to understand until he decided too put his foot down.... so i kinda feel bad for letting him do that especially considering he drives a front wheel probe.

i dont know where u live but mandrakes in cleveland do a good job ive been told. And relistically if your car is designed to drift it should be harder to loose control sliding out. the whole ideal of SETTING UP your car to drift means that it will stay in control

    • I've got a Turbosmart wastegate, ATP catch can, many GK Tech parts and Haltech everything. Everything's been perfect, sorry to hear your experience wasn't the same
    • The only high-power RB I've personally seen go pop after running for all of an hour on a dyno was built by B2R, while being remotely tuned by B2R. The only wastegates I've ever had leak like a sieve, return, still leak, return and get shipped back the wrong ones were from Turbosmart. The only final drive that I've ever purchased that were unusable, twice... were from Speedtek. The only seat mounts that I've ever purchased that placed the seats in the door frame were from Crank Motorsport. The only poorly designed parts that I had the manufacturer confirm should have been designed as per what I mentioned were from GKTech. The only ECU I've had firmware updates consistently break things are Haltech. The only catch can I've purchased that didn't fit in its advertised spot was from ATP. So forth and so on... Moral of the story, doesn't matter where it's from. Do your research beforehand and stick with products and companies you've trusted in the past.    @joshuaho96 If you want it done right, do it yourself.
    • Something coarse-ish. 180 is good.
    • I was surprised to see all the quick Jack models at the same prices on there. But yeah, grabbing one at 20% off would be great.
    • I wonder if these would be discounted when they have their big sales? because if so would be a great time to actually buy them could even end up cheaper than buying from quickjack in the end.
