But guys, you're not answering his question.

He's not asking what we can buy them for, he's asking what he can sell his for.

There's a big difference, and there are plenty of people out there who buy R34s that aren't on J-Spec's mailing list.

exactly

this is pretty typical of this forum ..confusing resale price for whats available "off the plan"

of course j spec prices are "approximate" and of course no one goes thru the bullshit of importing/compliance etc and then sells the car for what it cost :)

and try not to forget that only a few people have the nuts to spend 25k on a unseen car ..couple of pics and importer assurances ,the majority of buyers want to kick the tyres and have the car inspected by the "mate thats a mechanic "

so 30k for a good manual coupe that is allready here.. rego etc is a real price IMO

You have to remember some of the cheaper R34 are coming up on 8 years old now, so the price seems to be coming down a little in Japan. For a later one (i.e. a good 01 or 02 car) the prices are quite a few $k higher from what I have investigated.

But then again, what does that say for the age of R33's or gasp, R32's :) We're dealing with pretty old cars these days.

If I was in the market for that sort of car I'd pay high 20's for sure, or probably up to around $32k as it has a few nice mods. You also have to look across to the current value of the S15 to get a bit of an idea. Which is a better car for the money, that's another debate
