Explosion In The Sky Then Huge Fire Trail Over Bris?

I were in Brisbane tonight and just as i were about to jump back on the Gateway Motorway at about 6:30 there was a huge explosion in the sky followed by a large white green fire trail that spread about 1/3 of the the length of visible sky.

Question : WTF was it ?????????

I have witnessed a meteor shoot down to the ground in Goulburn and it was not like this

It was a definate explosion then stream of debri or something

Dan it was when i left your house so you may have seen it but im baffled and i were too slow to get the camera phone ready

I checked the BOM and there is nothing reported

Just wondering if anyone else saw it??????
