Thinking Of Buying A 33

Hi Guys,

Over the past few month i have been saving my pennies for a R34 GTT which the nice one seem to be sitting at around the 30k mark

now heres the catch a mutual friend is selling his 94 GTST for a great price he has offered it to me for $15,000

he purchased the car 2 years ago as a clean unmodified car he has done full exhauste from turbo back double dump, blitz front mount (cant be seen from front easily) apexi power fc and hand controller trust boost controller was all fitted and tuned together with 12 psi dialed in and has not been touched ever since.

Has been serviced every 5000 good oil and has never broken down or boosted over 12

looks wise it has a subtle after market front bar and 17" work rims 275 tyres on the back

i drove it and goes like a wet dream

1. do you think its a good deal considering i know all the history of the car

2. will the power fc and coilovers go into a 34GTT when i get one in say a years time

what is you opinion of the power fc?

Basicly i can get this car now and get rid of my clapped out lancer

or drive the dunga lancer till december when funds should permit and get the 34

You will loose money if you buy the 33 then sell it a few months later to buy a 34.

That 33 sounds like a good deal if it is in as good condition as you believe.

Personally I just buy the 33.

My advice, if you really want a 34, wait and just buy that, don't buy the 33 with the intent to sell it. If you want a car that goes well and looks good, buy the 33 and save the rest of the money.

Agree with what JCMarshall_Law says.

The R33 seems like its a great buy but buy it to keep it for awhile and not to sell it soon(ish).

Otherwise if you want the R34 that badly, keep saving up.

Would be keeping it for approx 1 year hopefully sell it to my gf so i dont actually have to get rid of the car!

anyone know if the power fc and coilovers would be compatible in a 34?
