Removing Gtr Boost Restrictor

I remember in a thead a while ago Removing a boost restrictor on GTR's to run 1 bar. I have searched but cant find anything (i hopeless with the search function). Can anyone tell my how this is done and what where your results

its in the hose with the yellow band painted on it feeding the boost solinoid. Feel the lump in the hose where the yellow band is...thats the restrictor....remove this from hose....and 1 bar boost you will have.

i just took my restrictor out last weekend

took maybe 4 minutes

and yeah hits a bar no worries and maybe its just me but feels like it could spoolup a bit sooner

ha anyway if ya dont like it just put it in again
