MR331307 where did you get your manifold made? im very keen to have a look at the car and the work done. Where do you work? or do you own a workshop? Thanks..

i make the manifolds.Exhaust manifold is a Xforce one.I do my own dyno tuning.

I work at wild1motorsport in wollongong,Can be viewed at www.wild1motorsport.com

You are more then welcome to come view the shop and my car

just come down in a week when i get my ecu back as im getting the new software downloaded to it.

Will make between 280 & 310 kw at tyres, valve train gives up around 20psi at 7000rpm, will also suffer from compressor surge with standard cams.

Power is good for high too mid 11 sec pass with correct combination of bolt ons though.

Just purchased a Garrett GT3540 (GT35R) for my R33 GTST. pulling off the old HKS GT-RS turbo for some more power :D. the turbo is rated at 700hp and i have it with a 0.82 rear housing so boost comes on reasonably early. Has anyone seen one of these on an R33 gtst?

Also motor is standard internals, only have bigger cams. Anyone else running 320+ rwkw on the standard motor? How long have you been doing this for?

i have cams so compressor surge sgould not be a prob. you cant call the guy a bullshiter as you have not gone round to see the car. why would he waste his time and preach things that are not real. i am amazed with the power yet curious as i goes against what many say. im very keen to see it in the flesh. this guy seems to know what he is on about so i would not sit there trying to criticise him when you prob have half the idea.

    • Hi. a little later but if the topic is here. So...the exhaust is the same and you can use 25/Turbo or any aftermarket? What about intake side? Is it too "plug n play" or? (i do not remember for 100% but i think that one intake to head gasket was little bit different than on the RB25 - i bought gasket kit way back) I know that even if it "plug" those butterfly swirls would cause ECU to be confused or?   Just asking for the info 🙂 and of course the RB25 things are easier to come by

    • Just had a look, they don't. Fuelling on the base map is purely alpha-N, and the ignition table is MAP. Remember it's just a base map to get the car moving
    • Hi everyone, I’m Dave from Canberra. Here's a few pics of my 1992 R32 GTST coupe which I imported back in 2006. Only mods so far are HKS Hi-power cat back exhaust, K&N filter, ATC Volanti steering wheel, Pioneer stereo, amp and sub. This was my daily driver up until 2015 and sadly hasn’t been driven at all in the last 5 years due to marriage, work, and kids taking up most of my time and spare cash.As such its in need of a bit of TLC and one of my goals for this year is to get it back to running condition and maybe look into club/historic rego. I’ve joined SAU so I can ask a few questions along the way (although I promise to google Current Problem +SAU beforehand!)
