Cost Of Dyno

hi guys.

i recently purchased a turbocharged car that's rated at 166kw stock. i'd be interested to go to a dyno shop one day in the future to see what it runs at.

how much is a basic power rating review?

$40 to $60 is reasonable. on dyno days u can usually get a run for $40

same here, since they do just wrap tha F$@# outta ur engine ..

i paid $30 for mine with car club at a dyno day..

and places around sydney are about $60-$80 normally if its not a dyno day

Shop around.

The general price is as stated around 60-80.

There's a workshop around the corner that does power runs for $35.

Well i wouldnt class $100 too high.

Reason being they will check things like oil etc etc.

If you want just a power run maybe $50-$60

But if you want timing adjustments and small things like that to be checked i wouldnt class $100 too right.

Especially if oil, water is low, timing is out and you have maybe 5-6 runs to check it all out etc.

I think mine cost $75 at 101 Motorcafe in Brissy, which I thought was a little high, but they gave me 2 different dyno printouts I specifically asked for, had another mechanic check for any pinging, did timing check and sat down with me after to answer any questions I had, which I had a few. Not so bad for that I think.
