nope....like you said just get gas drained (of course you would never just let it out....) pull all the bits off and off you go.

If you want to pull the unit from under the dash that is a bit harder, the fan mounts to the aircon unit so you would have to make a braket to hold it in place afterwards.

Pretty straight forward, but a bit fiddly if you want to keep the lines in one piece to sell/use later. When I helped my mate remove it from his DR30 we suspected it to be empy as it didn't work... Wrong. It promtly pissed all over him and the engine bay lol.

How many kg's can be had from the unit under the dash?
