Hey all,,

The ECU ive currently got is on temporary loan till i get a new one. Im not planning on getting a powerfc anytime soon so i was just looking at getting another ECU. ive found a Mines ECU from ebay. The seller says it runs but when tested in his car runs rich. Can this ECU be reset just like stock R32 GTR ECU's? The same method by disconnecting the negative battery terminal and pumping the brake pedal?

Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/R32-GTR-Mines-upgra...1QQcmdZViewItem

cheers people!

The Mines ECU was most likely programmed to suit specific mods on the vehicle it was fitted to, therefore unless your car features the exact same mods, its not surprising that it will run rich etc.

Mines ecu's cant just be reset.

damn. Ive contacted the seller and he said he may have a standard computer lying around somewhere. Thanks Blitz!

My GT-R came from Japan with a Mines ECU installed. It actually ran OK and was generically tuned to support standard low cost mods like mild boost increase (boost restrictor removed) and exhaust upgrade. I didn't experience detonation on BP Ultimate fuel.

The ECU is difficult to reprogram as Mines tend to bit a big dob of glue over the chip and socket arrangement.
