Lake mountain run

Due to loss of license and travel overseas me and a couple of mates are gunna do a run to lake mountain and reefton before i go away anyone interested in joining in is more than welcome.....it will be during the week tho

I recommend Mt Donna Buang while your at it.. thats got some awesome long sweepers which are great for some high speed handling

Let me know when your going, ill bring my mates pug, and maybe the clio sport as well.

on the way to bulla i think, cos its a mountain where novices go skying, about 2 hrs out of town i think

So far there is a T88 Thrusted supra and a couple of 180sx's...no other skylines yet...i will keep you posted as to when its gunna happen...in regards to the licence thing i have had it on and off over the last 6 or so years...although i lose it again in a month... you prob didnt see the car at the shop as lots of people borrow it from time to time

I rekon dont waste your time on lake mountain, do reefton, and black spur, then when in healseville head up towards Mt Donna buang.. its awesome.. even if it says summit closed, still go up, it will be open and no cars..!

Anyone else ever done any timed runs up reefton spur....

we used to go there and do some testing with rally car. Best goddam road ever, pretty hard on brakes down though. If anyone hasn't been there ....get there.

Pity petrol costs so much now...used to cost bugger all to go out there for the afternoon or whatever...it costs a fortune now.
