*tip* when u change your oil u dont need to turn the engine over to get pressure. maybe try reseting the ecu???

sorry dude im not much help :)

I also put on a new filter which was empty, so I don't like starting an engine without getting oil pressure up first. Wife took it 2 Nissan 2day, they put the 'consult' on it, they reset it. Light was on because I unplugged wire.

hey mate if u install a new filter just fill the filter before u install it and it will be 99% full. i was told by plenty of people including sydneykid that on a brand new rebuilt engine (thats never run) u dont even need to crank it round to get pressure, he said just start it and it will build pressure straight away.

just my 2c worth :D

cheers

Cruise,You must be a magician lol. I haven't been able 2 fill an oil filter then tip it on its side to screw on2 the side of a motor without oil running out and making a bloody mess. As it was i had 2 degease after removing old filter. Cheers
