Satanic.

I promise that if you don't tell us how to get better results with our cams gears, that I will ban you and eat your first born.

I'm hungry.

Munna. There IS a gain to be had, depends on the dyno and the car and all those other things.

Do a search for something like "Cam* Gears dyno" and you will find a fair few throads about them.

Basically you retard the exhaust wheel by about 4 degrees and readjust base timing. It brings your torque curve over a little and gives up to about 10rwkw gain at the top.

Everyones experiences have been slightly different.

I just KNOW that from my experience to date (Satanic, I'm waiting for further information) that they have no effect on Neo engines.

Satanic.

Don't make me kill you and eat you.

went thought the first 5 pages and didnt find anything on exhaust cam wheel with a stock motor. but I did a guy who had good results puttering rb26 cams into a rb20. But others having problems doing the same thing. Wonder how this would go on a rb25.

hurry up and tell us Satanic or else :D

cheers

Alright alright... don't have to get so nasty about it; I haven't checked back here for a little while :ermm:

The email is at home, I'll post it up word for word when I get home

Also, while I'm here - can anyone direct me to a ENGLISH installation guide for the Poncams?

The stuff in Japanese has a lot of pictures which is great, but I would like every single detail.

The cam gears go sweetly on the RB26.

Massive gains for cheap.

On the RB25 (neo/non-neo) however im yet to really see a worthwhile gain on cams/cam gears on the stock turbo

Its either a case of people are ALL setting them up wrong and getting stuff all gain (if any)

OR

The people that do get gains, didnt have the car timing running correct to begin with.

So during the installation of the cam gear this has corrected the incorrect timing setting, and the better timing has resulted in a 15rwkw gain and better midrange, but not the cam gear itseld

Just my thoughts on the gains on the RB25

That would make sence Nismoid. I will not be convinced that this is a worthwhile mod with the stock turbo intill I hear of some other results with all the details

cheers
