From what I have read about R33 GTRs, they run mid to low 13s from factory, so with computer, exhaust, and boost (depending how much), you will probably run mid 12s maybe.

If the boost controller is not turning on when the car is turned on, first thing I would check it the connections for power, earth and accessories. If those 3 are hooked up, then the unit should turn on when you turn the key to accessories, but if the unit turns on, but does not function correctly, that is a different problem.

thank you so much quinny for replying :P is it possible there is a somekind of a switch hidden for the boost control?? is there a need for using the boost controller in a daily driving??? and how would i know if my skyline have a Blow off valve installed???where is it located???, if there is a blow off valve, is there a smoke that comes out when reving it high?? like the R34 in the too fast to furious??? thanks

Depending on what boost controller you are running, i'd asume an avcr from apexi, there is no hidden switch. As far as needing a bost controller for daily driving, you dont need it, running stock boost (7 psi) will get you better fuel usage for day to day use. Your best bet is to get someone who know's about boost controllers to take a look at it... Your car has factory dual blow off valve's installed, they are plumback and shouldn't make a noise and blow out ' smoke ' like 2 fast 2 furioues, as it's illegal.

I ran a 33 GTR ( seriesI, v-spec) at WSID a while ago, she had a power f/c, batmil front pipes, ex-force catback and ebc ( 1 bar boost) she did 12.3 @109 mph.

Stock 33 GTr boost is about 10 psi ( with restrictor in and stock exhaust).

GTRS have 2 recirculating valves, they are on the drivers side inner guard ( if you take the plastic inner gurd off you will see them ).

They dont blow any smoke but if you have pods you can hear them .

okok thanks guys...., here is the picture of my skyline...so, what would i do to make it same with the 2fast2furious...that smoke comes out??? hehe, just want it that way, its nice... :) , actually im still not using my gtr right now because it is still right hand drive....here in the philippines, it need to be left hand drive....and tips??? on what i should be careful of when converting the gtr to left hand drive??? about the electronics???thanks...

im not stupid :)

Well atleast we got that out of the way

It would be quite a big job changing the driving side...i'm having headaches just thinking about it. YOu'd need to find someone who specializes in conversions, i couldnt imagine it would be cheap by any means.

And for smoke you need nos, then run the purge lines to the bonnet.

yep, here right hand drive vehicles is illegal, we used here in converting it to left hand drive, like my honda ek4, just finished converting the other day, i put the skyline on the last...because this is the only first gtr here in our place...and the people who convert haven't work with skyline before...so thats why i want to start it after all my cars are finished so i could work it slowly and surely.....is there any tips guys?? on the electronics.....i hope i will have no problems after converting it....

180_mph, "Rev you engine past redline, hold it there for a while...and chances are smoke will come out from under the bonnet" - is this real?? :) or joke?

    • Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R closed down in 2008 and was declared bankrupt in 2010: http://bank-db.com/hasan/208365. • Try fabricating something like this and install it under the pedals? Not sure if it's legal or not....
    • Even though I have some pretty good (brand) ratchet ringies, I avoid using them to break open tight bolts. A broken ratchet is very annoying.
